No Such Thing As Curses

Aiden Ashley hasn't seen Charlotte Sins in months when her old friend finally shows up. Work swallowed Aiden whole and Charlotte's been drowning in dates across the city. They're catching up when Charlotte's phone buzzes. She starts to kill the notification, but Aiden catches the subject line. "Do Not Open This Email." Their curiosity wins. Charlotte clicks. A chain letter demands she turn lesbian or suffer seven years bad luck. They laugh it off and trash the email. A few nights later Charlotte's at Aiden's door, pale and shaking. Her underwear just slid down in the elevator and flashed half the mall. At some party a drunk knocked red wine across her chest and everyone saw nipples through the wet cotton. Panties slip to her ankles mid-sentence. Charlotte's convinced the curse is real. Aiden tries logic, but buttons pop on their own and the blouse parts. Cold dread settles in. Charlotte swallows her pride; the only cure is the sex the letter demanded. Aiden hesitates, then peels her shirt off. They meet in a quick, frantic kiss that tastes like fear and heat. Clothing drops fast, skin presses hot against skin, fingers sink deep between parted thighs. Moans rise quick as curses dissolve into sweat and slick thrusts of tongues and hips. Charlotte comes first, shaking, curse lifting with every pulse around Aiden's fingers. They stay tangled long after, hearts slowing, curse gone, questions left for morning.
