Controlling Her Crush

Cadence Lux tears open the package and yanks out a vibrator with an app remote. Her eyes light up at the idea of someone controlling it across the room or across town. She slides out of her shorts, spits on the toy, pushes it inside, and starts playing with the speeds until her toes curl against the sheets. Already shaking, she decides to be dangerous. She opens the app and copies the link meant for Robbie. Too horny to read straight, she taps the first name that pops up instead, labeled Roomie. Octavia gets the ping in the living room. Her eyebrows shoot up. The girl has always run straight, yet here’s a toy code waiting in her DMs. Octavia accepts without blinking. She figures Cadence wants to be messed with by someone who actually knows what girls like. Cadence walks around the apartment folding laundry, rinsing dishes, bending for things on low shelves. Every few minutes Octavia slides a slider on her phone and the vibrator hums to a different rhythm. Cadence freezes, hand braced on the counter, knees threatening to buckle. She bites her lip and keeps moving. When she finally calls Robbie, she’s half-moaning already, assuming he’s the one wrecking her from downtown. Robbie says he has no idea what she’s talking about. The line goes dead in Cadence’s hand. She stands there shaking, then texts Octavia to come into the bedroom. Octavia walks in barefoot, phone still glowing in her palm. Cadence snaps. She meant that link for her boyfriend, not her lesbian roommate. Octavia’s mouth opens, closes, and a slow grin creeps across her face. She thought the invitation was real. Thought Cadence was finally ready to experiment. The apology starts, but Octavia cuts it off by stepping closer, voice low, eyes dark. She offers to keep going right here, no phones, just skin and heat. Cadence swallows, breath short, thighs still trembling from hours of remote teasing. She says yes.
