Labor Day

Erika and White throw a Labor Day party for two reasons only—money and tongue. Aleks shows up, boots still dusty, and they peel him bare like wrappers off candy. Knees hit tile. Two mouths fight for space, saliva stringing between lips. Erika takes him deep, white heat smearing her lipstick, while White’s tongue drags lower. The grill outside stays cold. Inside, skin slaps skin and somebody’s screaming through laughter, probably because no one’s taking turns anymore.
