Waiting is the Hardest

Carter Cruise is on the phone with her friend, waiting for the registry to answer. She sees the message pop up, ends the call, and dials. Erica picks up. A quick hello, then Erica asks to meet. At the clinic they sit together. Erica wants to know Carter before the results come back. They talk. Then they flirt, half-joking that if they aren’t related they should go out. The doctor arrives with the papers—no blood match. Carter turns to Erica, says the date is on. Erica grabs her and they kiss hard right there in the waiting room. Hands move fast. Shirts open. Erica’s mouth on Carter’s nipples, tongue working slow circles. Carter’s breath catches. Erica sits back on the exam table, Carter drops between her legs, tongue working fast, tasting her.
