Flashback: Part 1

Sadness hung over Riley Reid and her stepmother Ashley Fires. The funeral had already taken its toll. Ashley rubbed Riley's back, insisting that her father had loved her more than life itself. Riley just stared at the floor. Words meant nothing now. Ashley followed her into the bedroom and handed her a notebook. 'This is from your real mother,' she said. 'I was supposed to give it to you when you were ready.' The room felt even colder. Riley demanded to be left alone. She crawled under the covers, opened the book, and felt her eyelids turn to lead. Objects rattled on the nightstand. The air shifted and the whole space spun until the bedroom swallowed itself. When her eyes opened, she was inside a familiar layout wearing clothes that belonged to someone else. Moans pulled her down the hall. Half-whispers and the slap of skin on skin led her to her parents' door. Inside, two girls her age fucked like they owned the house: Nickey straddling Serena, hips rolling, the stench of sex thick in the light from the window. From the next room a man laughed. 'Raveness can ride my girlfriend's tongue whenever she wants.' Riley remembered the line from the notebook; Ashley was the girlfriend. Serena dragged Nickey down, spread her thighs, licked her clean, then sank fingers inside, first slow, then hard. Riley's pulse hammered in her clit. She didn't notice Nickey climbing off the mattress until the girl was already walking straight toward the door. Footsteps. Heart pounding. Nowhere to hide.
