Mother's Secret Twins: Part One

Adriana’s old man finally snapped. Too much booze, too many boys, no sense of shame. He tossed her things into a duffel and shipped her to Dana DeArmond’s place, where the rules were iron and the correction was merciless.
Inside the bedroom, Jade Nile stood waiting in a crisp white dress—her hair pinned back, her posture stiff. She looked freshly pressed, almost cold. Adrienne’s stomach turned. She didn’t belong here.
Dana entered carrying a gift. Adrienne tore the wrapping and found another white dress, identical to Jade’s. Same pleats, same hem. Same identity. “Put it on,” Dana said. “Downstairs. Supper’s at seven.”
Jade stepped close to help with the buttons. Her breath smelled like mint and her fingertips trembled; under the cotton she was slick, thighs pressed together, the wet spot spreading across thin panties. Adrienne felt the heat, said nothing.
At the table the rules were exact: every bite, every sip in perfect unison. Dana watched like a clockmaker. Jade’s bare foot slid beneath the linen and climbed Adrienne’s shin, higher, brushing lace. Adrienne’s fork froze mid-air. She glanced up. “Mother, may we be excused? I’m tired.”
Dana kissed each girl once on the forehead, sheets tucked tight beneath their chins. She lingered on Jade—mouth to mouth, deeper, tongues brushing. Adrienne’s breath caught.
When the door clicked shut, Jade leaned over. “Our turn,” she whispered. “Quiet. If she hears, she’ll stripe us both.” Lace peeled down, cool air kissed bare lips. The mattress dipped, soft, wet sounds swallowed by cupped palms. Each creak of the headboard felt like a siren. Somewhere down the hall Dana’s floor lamp stayed lit, thin strip of light beneath the door.
And the white dresses hung in matching silhouettes on the closet door, waiting for morning—or discovery.
