Avy Scott waits behind her desk. She hears the door open and then shut. Jane comes in and stands there stiff, thinking the talk will just be about bills. Avy tells her straight: her mom's payments are long past due. There's almost no cash left. She offers one way out. Jane can fuck who Avy tells her to. Avy's friends, her clients. All women.
