Krystal Davis stood in the doorway like she didn’t belong to herself anymore. Kimmy spun once in the ballgown, layers rustling. The lace one came next—tight where it counted, sheer where it didn’t. Then the third. The slit climbed so high Krystal could almost taste the skin. Light hit the bare leg like an open secret. Krystal’s mouth went dry. She used to own that body.
