Someone Who Understands

Olive walks in, tired as hell. Alex is still folding towels when she should already be gone. They chat while Olive wipes down surfaces, bitches about hotel guests and their disgusting messes. Alex nods, says clients are just as bad. Then Alex's hands get to work on Olive's neck, Olive stretches forward, clothes coming off one by one. She lies on the table and Alex's oil-slick palms run slow over her back, pressing deep. Heat rises. Olive twists her face to the side, eyes half-lidded. She says nothing for a minute, then she grins, voice low, telling Alex it's her turn to get naked. The room is quiet except for their breathing and the soft sound of skin on skin.
