Mick Blue walks through the door dead tired. Kenzie Taylor wraps herself around him before he even drops his keys. Too much touch, too much heat. Mick feels it coming. She clears her throat once, sharp and deliberate. Lilly Bell steps out. Same hair, same smile, same sway in her hips. Younger, but close enough to pass for Kenzie at twenty-five. Mick’s jaw tightens. He likes what he sees and hates how fast his blood responds. Kenzie watches his face. She says she saw how long he stared at her old pictures, saw the hunger. So she found Lilly. Paid her.
