An Unfamiliar Bed

Liz looked shot. Her stepmom, Pristine Edge, climbed onto the bed and didn’t bother with small talk. "What’s the matter?" "Field trip," Liz said. "Whole damn week. I’ll never sleep somewhere new." Pristine’s smile was slow and sure. "We switch beds for the next few nights. Get you used to it." Liz shook her head; she looked ready to crack. Pristine shrugged. "Fine. I’ll stay with you the first night." Hours later Pristine dozed, one arm flung above her head. Liz twisted and turned, sheets snapping. She finally poked her stepmom awake. "I can’t sleep at all." Pristine pulled her in, chest to back, hand sliding low across Liz’s belly. The warmth worked deeper. Liz rolled until her face pressed into the soft heat between Pristine’s breasts, breath catching. Fingers trailed lower. Heat bloomed under every stroke. Pristine’s thigh slid between Liz’s. She whispered against her ear, "One sure way to make that mind shut up."
