Stay The Night

Brandi drags her ass home after a brutal shift wiping spilled beer and fake smiles off tables. She finds Autumn curled up on the couch, that teenage sitter still in her tight uniform, black hair messy from hours of her trying not to fall asleep. It's past midnight already. Autumn has to come back early anyway, so Brandi tells her just stay the damn night. No couch. Her bed's wide enough. The two of them slip under the same covers, bodies close in the dark.
