No One Can Replace Her

Ryan calls for Vanna. The girl steps in, arms crossed, already bored. She gets the quick intro—Kayla Paige, the new fiancée—then watches Ryan press a quick kiss to her cheek before sealing Kayla with a deep, open-mouthed kiss that makes Vanna’s jaw twitch. Ryan leaves, footsteps fading down the hall.
Kayla tries small talk. Vanna shuts it down with one-word grunts and an inch of clear space between them. Tension sits in the air like smoke. Kayla lets out a slow breath, softer now, and mentions the birth mom who died. Vanna’s eyes flash; the wound’s still raw and Kayla touching it only makes her want to bite.
Fine. She’ll make Kayla run. Vanna steps close, slides a hand up Kayla’s thigh, brushes her lips across the older woman’s ear, voice low and filthy. “You really think you can take my dad’s place? You don’t even know what I like.”
Instead of bolting, Kayla grins, cheeks pink, and calls down the hallway. Ryan steps back in, blouse half-open, eyes dark.
“Both of us want you,” she says, simple as a promise. Vanna freezes, pulse hammering. The trap she set just sprang the other way, and now two gorgeous women are staring at her like they plan to devour every inch.
